The arts are a vibrant, cherished part of life at the Professional Children’s School, and I am excited to share some of our students’ artwork with you.

PCS currently enrolls 180 students in grades 6-12, from 14 states and7 countries; our students participate in a slew of professions ranging from dance and music to theater and sports. With this diverse student body comes a breadth of art-making interest and experience, encompassing extreme sophistication to limited exposure, and everything in between. While
we are extremely proud to graduate a few students every year who pursue visual art at the college level, a primary goal of our program is to foster a love of art and studio practice, and to raise visual awareness in the general student population, even as we support those for whom art is their passionately pursued profession.

We hope you will enjoy our work.
